Let me just start by saying that we LOVE to travel. It has become one of our most favorite things to do; so when we got the call from Katie and Ulises about their Panama wedding we were totally in! Katie and Ulises, or Peque as his friends call him, are some of the most humble, inviting and thoughtful people we have encountered. It was such a joy to share 5 days with them in Peque’s home country. They included us in everything, wanted us to participate with them in everything and we left really feeling like friends! As you can see they not only know how to have a good time, but they are genuinely head over heels for each other. We sure do love us some EB & JC. We are so honored having been able to grow closer with the both of them. Their wedding was a dream, and their families were wonderful. Kate + Cory

Kate & Cory were wed in Waxahachie, Texas on a rainy day in March. First of all, as soon as we met with Kate and her mom, we knew we were going to LOVE them. Then, when we did their engagements, we fell in love with both Kate & Cory and how they interacted together. They are seriously two of the most fun people we have worked with. On their wedding day, we were in absolute awe when we walked into their reception. Kate used to work at Anthropologie (hence her BHLDN dress) – she and her parents made everything you see!! The LOVE sign, the drink signs, made custom bottles, all of it! We love how creative and original they were with their wedding. Thanks SO much for Ruffled Blog for featuring Kate & Cory today!

Down South Shop

We are so, so excited to announce a super rad workshop that we get to be a part of: Down South Shop. We are teaming up with two of the coolest photographers we know – Shaun Menary and Jess Barfield – to teach YOU about shooting in the south. Rocky and I are so pumped to be specializing in how to capture authentic and emotion images. The date is Sunday, June 17^th, and we would LOVE to have you there. Alix & Taylor were married last night at Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine. We are so happy to finally be able to show her bridals. She was so relaxed and comfortable in her own skin. You are beautiful Alix!

Kate + Josh

We have known Kate for a few years now, and we are SO pumped to be shooting her and Josh’s wedding. They both moved to southern California a few years back, and their wedding will be in San Clemente in October – seriously, it will be awesome. Kate and Josh are so much fun to be around – they bring so much fun and joy anytime you are near them. This was part one of their engagement session….part two will come in July when we go to California to finish it – can’t wait for everyone to see what is to come!

Sweet Proposal

Mackenzie & Sebastian are engaged!! These two have been some of our very dear friends for the past few years. Sebastian came to us a few months ago to discuss a secret plan for their engagement. We LOVED being able to photograph this for them – proposals are one of our favorites. The anticipation, excitement, and rush that goes into knowing what is about to happen makes it so much fun for us. Sebastian proposed to Mackenzie and then took her back for another surprise at her parents house, where about 30 people were waiting to congratulate them. The last few images are my favorite, where she obviously had no clue what was coming! Mackenzie & Sebastian are getting married October 27 in San Clemente, California, and we can’t WAIT to be there to photograph their wedding day.
